The Torquay / Jan Juc townships have been big winners since the election of the Rudd Labor government, with some fantastic community-strengthening projects now being implemented.

The Ocean Grove / Barwon Heads townships are going ahead under the Rudd Labor government. There's school upgrades, new housing initiaitves, and solar hot water subsidies.

The Grovedale / Belmont community has won some important projects since the election of the Rudd Labor government, including new education, health and sports facilities.These are really strengthening the local community.

The Highton / Wandana Heights community have seen some great projects funded by the Federal government who appreciates the needs of this growth community.

Colac is being transformed by Federal funding of huge new transport, education and community-building projects, including the duplication of the Princes Highway.

The Great Ocean Road communities of Anglesea, Aireys Inlet, Lorne and Apollo Bay, and the magnificent surrounding environment, is a high priority for the Rudd Labor government.

The Bannockburn community has received more funding per head than any other area in the region. That reflects the needs of this community, which is the fastest growing in the whole region.
